The realm of sound is redefined with ThermoSynth, a sophisticated self-regulating hyper oscillator engine that draws inspiration from thermodynamic systems. This innovative tool extends the traditional oscillator concept, functioning as a generative synthesizer at the waveform level. It goes beyond merely generating static or interference waveforms; it also facilitates the evolution of sonic structures through internal communication and interactions within controlled parameters.

At its core, the ThermoSynth oscillator creates its own engine environment, initiating its signal path with a purely mathematical waveform generator—eschewing samples or pre-optimized tables. This setup allows for the rendering of fundamental waveforms and the capability to morph seamlessly between them. The four oscillators within ThermoSynth are in a perpetual state of interaction, exchanging signals via a 4x4 feedback matrix.

The system introduces various transformations through stochastic modulators, a renowned feature of sonicLAB, while also allowing users to influence the sound through perturbations known as "injections" into the system. Each oscillator continuously evaluates its environmental conditions and self-regulates in response to these applied changes.

The outcome is a distinctive form of endless, non-repetitive drone synthesis that yields organic textures suitable for electronic music. Users may find themselves immersed for hours in experimentation with ThermoSynth.

ThermoSynth mirrors the capabilities of the desktop version from sonicLAB, featuring MPE support and high-resolution rotary encoder MIDI mapping for external control, just like its desktop counterpart.
